We’re always on the lookout for highly motivated professionals to join our team. The jobs we offer are mostly linked to our core air traffic management/aviation competences, although we also offer some support roles. You could be working at one of our four sites - our Brussels HQ, our Innovation Hub in Paris (Brétigny), our Training Institute in Luxembourg and our Upper Area Control Centre in Maastricht. To join us, you need to be a national of one of our Member States. Check out our current vacancies and find your dream job in Aviation!
Twice a year we run a recruitment campaign to attract candidates for our student air traffic controller (ATCO) training programme. If you’re under 25, passionate about aviation and have great spatial skills, we offer this exciting opportunity to train you as an ATCO, with the prospect of a rewarding career in the unique Maastricht Upper Area Control Centre in the Netherlands afterwards.
We regularly offer traineeship opportunities for undergraduates, graduates and Ph.D. students. If you’re looking for a place that values your curiosity, passion, and desire to learn, you have found your great first work experience. As an international organisation, we offer you a multicultural and stimulating environment where you learn from our experts in various fields: aeronautical engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, cyber security, business, law, human resources, and communications, to just name a few.
As an international organisation with staff drawn from over 40 Member States, diversity is part of our DNA. We believe that diversity, be it in terms of age, culture or gender, is key to achieving business goals and creating a healthy and productive working environment.
Gender diversity is also a challenge for the whole of the air transport industry. We're committed along other organisations to change this.
Women and men have equal pay at EUROCONTROL - our salary structure is based on the responsibilities of the post held. If you're in a same-sex partnership, our benefits for couples also apply.
Our core value: focus on meeting stakeholder needs. We support European aviation 24/7 to keep the network operating as smoothly, safely and efficiently as possible.
We work extremely hard to balance the needs of all our stakeholders - airspace users, air navigation service providers, airports, states, the industry, the military - to find and implement common solutions.
Integrity is a value we uphold in our daily work. This means that EUROCONTROL staff have to act in a neutral and impartial manner, as they deal with a wide variety of different stakeholder needs.
Integrity is also one of our core leadership values: we want to be sure that honesty and fairness are at the heart of how we treat our staff.
Integrity is enshrined in the Agency’s statutes.
In this fast-paced world, it is vital that EUROCONTROL, a technical agency, shows readiness to adapt to changing circumstances and demands.
Whether it’s helping the system cope with disruptions (such as the exceptional delays of summer 2018, or the Icelandic volcano ash episode in 2010) or in implementing key operational concepts, we need to be able to come up with new, efficient solutions which can be adapted to fit the needs of all of our stakeholders.
We are of the firm belief that, in order to keep moving forward, the entire EUROCONTROL team must concentrate on achieving their objectives, no matter what the circumstances are.
We have to deliver the highest quality at all times and efficiently manage both time and costs, always with the end-result in view.
